Round 1: 240 Seconds. Rounds 2 through 7: 180 Seconds

Interruptions and delays

Round 1 on Day 2 delayed 30 minutes to complete flyoff from Day 1
Change of Flight Line: 2 x Day 1, 1 x Day 2

Weather and visibility

Clear and warm with light variable winds.

Twice Day 1, Once Day 2 Due to change in wind direction

Number of starting poles

40 available. Largest Single Event: 16 poles (F1A). Largest Flyoff: 39 poles

Number of competitors per pole

(4) Four Maximum with one exception to (6) Six in F1B by contestant’s request

Local rules or deviations from Sporting Code

Timers were not provided for regular rounds. (7) regular rounds were flown in each event. Only (1) timer was provided for each contestant in first flyoff rounds.

Observations on timekeeping

One case of minor confusion resolved without incident. Too many contestants for available timer pool. Will almost certainly need to split flyoffs in 2017 if numbers are similar

Prize-giving and issue of results - confirm organisers provide results with full names, nationalities and number of juniors

Complete. Confirmed. Results were sent to SEN for worldwide distribution and directly to Ian Kaynes by the Contest Director.
