Weather was variable
F1A, Rounds light and variable, Evening F/Os 1~3 m/s from NE All flights from North line. 10 min F/O next morning 2~4 m/s from West, We flew using the west line, winning flight of 495 seconds was able to be seen with Binoculars
F1B/C, Rounds began with similar winds to F1A F/O. We flew from the West line. The wind picked up through the day reaching a peak of just under 7 m/s. We reduced the round 2 max to 180 seconds which we maintained throughout the day.
We decided, due to the wind and impending rain, to cancel evening F/Os and announced the F/Os would be held the next morning. The wind was the same direction but less velocity and we again used the West line. Flights were visible for the duration of flight, the winning time was 445 seconds
