Schedule of competition

Duration of rounds

One Hour Rounds beginning at 8AM Flyoff rounds 7 minutes each.

Breaks between rounds

No breaks between rounds (there was a line change 10/14 of approximately one hour)

Maximum durations in each round

First and second rounds were 240 seconds all events with 180 seconds through balance of 7 rounds (6 rounds were flown on B/C day due to line move)

Interruptions and delays

October 14 there was a line change required on B/C day that resulted in approximately a one hour delay and the contest was 6 rounds on that day.

Weather and visibility

Wonderful weather with no visibility issues.

Flight line - changes of position

There was a line change on Oct 14 explained above.

Number of starting poles

A line was used with no starting poles

Number of competitors per pole

A line was used as opposed to poles

Local rules or deviations from Sporting Code

No timers were assigned. Competitors timed each other. The fly off used was decided on A/Q day using a 6 minute, 8 minute and 10 minute max. Contest was decided on a B/C day with a 12 minute max in the morning after a 6 and 8 minute max the day before.

Observations on timekeeping

Event appeared to be fairly timed by fellow competitors with no issues observed

Prize-giving and issue of results - confirm organisers provide results with full names, nationalities and number of juniors

Any incident or accident

No incidents or accidents or protests. The jury was consulted on B/C day on flyoff concerns.
