Duration of rounds

All rounds 60 minutes

Breaks between rounds

15 minutes, except after round two (45 min), no break after round 4.

Maximum durations in each round

4 minutes for all rounds, 3 minutes for the first fly-off and 5 minutes for the second.

Interruptions and delays

Half an hour delay after round two because of rain and visibility..

Weather and visibility

Medium to stronger wind (5 to 7 m/s, short peaks up to 9 m/s), good visibility in the rounds, poorer but acceptable in the fly-offs.

Flight line - changes of position

Flight line was moved down after round 4 and again for both fly-offs.

Number of starting poles

7 timekeeper pairs were available, but had to be separated because of the large number of competitors. Pairs were timing in the fly-offs.

Observations on timekeeping

There was no problem observed or recorded.

Prize-giving and issue of results - confirm organisers provide results with full names, nationalities and number of juniors

Prize giving was on the slope after the senior WCh (3 days later, because of the heavy rain just after the event).
The results were displayed continuously by hand on a traditional scoreboard and computer printouts were displayed after the rounds. Juniors were listed, prized and celebrated separately, and in the overall listing. The results are available on the web site of the organizer and the Thermiksense since the next day (www.worldchamps-f1e.info and www.thermiksense.de).
