Competitions rescheduled one day earlier due to a more favourable weather window. All competitors notified.

Weather and visibility

Weather: Excellent. Cool early morning. Winds F1A-F1C variable to 2-3 m/sec early then calming near midday. Winds F1B 3-4 m/sec. FO 4-5m/sec

None required 2km+ all directions

Number of starting poles

Nominal 50m starting line. Separate starting lines marked by large traffic cones indicating each category.

Number of competitors per pole

Mostly one

Local rules or deviations from Sporting Code

Competitors to time others. No motorised retrieval allowed.

Observations on timekeeping

Overall Visibility Excellent. FO’s generally held to 0715hrs.

Prize-giving and issue of results - confirm organisers provide results with full names, nationalities and number of juniors

Printed results issued at Banquet. Confirmed to CIAM. Published to SEN and in next edition of Free Flight Down Under. 2 Chinese Juniors flying.
Prizes: Medals with Certificates were well received at the excellent Dinner/ Presentation Function.
