Local rules or deviations from Sporting Code | Deviations from the Sporting Code were: the lack of stating poles. 5 rounds were used rather than 7 (see above). Flyoff was 8 minute max for F1A followed by 10 minute maximum. F1B and F1C had a single flyoff of 10 minutes. A team competition was provided for each event except F1Q. |

Any incident or accident | Frederic Aberlenc (FRA) had an issue with his timekeeper in the 8 minute flyoff losing sight of his model in the sun while very high. A subsequent check of his altimeter and the distance that the model had travelled suggested that a max should be awarded. |
