SMS message relayed to all competitors, 24hrs prior to next days competition pertaining to event specific details.

Schedule of competition

Sunday 26th April start at 0800, 1400 finish.
Flyoff for the Widgiewa Cup conducted Monday 28th April at 0700.

Duration of rounds

Round 1 and 2 were 1-hour rounds, round 2 and 3 were 1½ hour rounds, then last round 1 hour.

Breaks between rounds

Nil

Maximum durations in each round

All rounds 3-minute max.
Flyoff max set at 10 minutes.

Interruptions and delays

Round 3 and 4 were extended to 1 ½ hrs due to wind speed.

Weather and visibility

Sunny with clear sky. 10-27 degrees Celsius, wind speed started 2 metres per sec at 830, then increased to 4-5 metres per secs by 10am. Wind then dropped off back to 2 metres per second at 1pm.
