Schedule of competition

F1A: March 15, 7 rounds beginning at 9:00
F1B, C: March 16, 6 rounds beginning at 9:15

Duration of rounds

55 minutes

Breaks between rounds

F1A: No breaks between rounds except 30 minutes lunch break between rounds 4 and 5
F1B,C: No breaks between rounds. 30 min lunch break after round 4 was canceled because of expected rising wind. This decision was announced before the start of competition and published on the scoreboard.

Maximum durations in each round

F1A: round 1 = 210 s, rounds 2 to 7 = 180 s
F1B, C: rounds 1 to 3 = 180 s, rounds 4 and 5 =150 s, round 6 = 120 s

Interruptions and delays

F1A: None
F1B, C: Due to strong wind and turbulence the competition was interrupted after round 6 for half an hour. Due to unchanged conditions after the break the organizers and the jury decided to finish the competition after round 6.

Weather and visibility

F1A: sunny, 6 to 13 degrees C, wind 1 to 5 m/s, good visibility
F1B, C: partly cloudy, 5 to 10 degrees C, wind 3 to 5 m/s with turbulence at the beginning of the competition – tendency rising. Wind after round 6 4-8 m/s with wind gusts up to 11 m/s and strong turbulence. Competitors had problems with model retrieval.

Observations on timekeeping

Mostly reliable timekeepers

Prize-giving and issue of results - confirm organisers provide results with full names, nationalities and number of juniors

On the field after each contest day, results printed and distributed and in the internet.
First 3 places in each category and first 3 juniors in F1A were awarded with cups on the flying site after the competition. Forth and fifth placed competitors were awarded with gifts.
