There were 8 competitors.

Local rules or deviations from Sporting Code

Flew with a 15-second motor run flown in rounds. The National’s contest director required a 25-second motor run and non-round flying. Consequently, one flier who followed these rules was disqualified.

Observations on timekeeping

Co-timing each other.

Prize-giving and issue of results - confirm organisers provide results with full names, nationalities and number of juniors

Initial and revised results (see note below) were reported.

Any incident or accident

Issues with the Nationals organizers regarding two sets of F1Q rules. The rule issue will be completely resolved next year.

Protests

Teppo Saripla (FIN) filed a protest after the contest. An investigation supported his assertions, leading to a shuffle the first three places. Also, since Teppo admitted not flying 15-second motor runs during the first four rounds, these flights were deemed overruns.
