Schedule of competition

Round 1: 9:00- 10:00, Round 2: 10:00 - 11:00, Round 3: 11:00-12:00. Round 4: 12:00-13:00, Round 5: 13:00- 14:00.
Fly-off 1: Group A fly-off F1A: 15:00 Group B fly-off F1A: 15:20. F1B 15:55.
Fly-off 2: F1A 16:45.

Duration of rounds

Round 1 to 5: 1 hour.

Breaks between rounds


Maximum durations in each round

Round 1: F1A 210 sec, F1B/F1C/F1Q 240 sec
Round 2 – 4: 180 sec.
Round 5: 240 sec.
Fly-off 1: 420 sec, Fly-off 2: 540 sec.

Weather and visibility

Partly cloudy, 0-3 oC. Good visibility. Wind: 1-3 m/s, Last F1A fly-off: 5-6 m/s.

Flight line - changes of position


Number of starting poles

Flight line with free positioning.

Number of competitors per pole

No requirement.

Local rules or deviations from Sporting Code

F1C and F1Q starting pole at right hand side of flight line, facing the wind. We tested the Group Fly-off system suggested by CIAM for F1A. And it worked well without problems and with good experience.

Observations on timekeeping

Random check of timekeeping.

Prize-giving and issue of results - confirm organisers provide results with full names, nationalities and number of juniors

Results continuously updated on score-board at flight line. Prize giving in the evening after the competition. Prizes to the first 3 in all classes, both juniors and seniors.
