Local rules or deviations from Sporting Code | Due to the changing direction of the wind , timekeepers were allowed to move from the flight line if their line of sight was obstructed by vehicles or shade structures. Flyers were allowed to time each other, rounds 1-3 on Friday were shortened by agreement of all flyers to 45 minutes, and the competition was reduced to 5 rounds due to unfavorable winds. |
Observations on timekeeping | There were 2 timekeepers with tripod mounted bino's for each of the 3 F1C flyoff contestants and each of the 2 F1A flyoff contestants . *There was some difficulty experienced as the F1C models went behind a tree line, however the placings were not affected and a sporting result was achieved. The F1A flyoff was timed to the ground. |
Prize-giving and issue of results - confirm organisers provide results with full names, nationalities and number of juniors | The results were on the score board in order of placings on all three days. Results were sent to the FAI and posted on SEN. |
