Flyers were allowed to time each other, rounds 1-3 on Friday were shortened by agreement of all flyers to 45 minutes, and the competition was reduced to 5 rounds due to unfavorable winds.
Observations on timekeeping
There were 2 timekeepers with tripod mounted bino's for each of the 3 F1C flyoff contestants and each of the 2 F1A flyoff contestants . *There was some difficulty experienced as the F1C models went behind a tree line, however the placings were not affected and a sporting result was achieved. The F1A flyoff was timed to the ground.
