As published. Thursday 23rd April F1B, Friday 24th April F1A & F1C. (flyoff in F1A & F1C Saturday25th April)

Duration of rounds

All rounds nominally 1 hour, except F1A & F1C shortened to 45 minutes (rounds1-3) due to forecast increasing wind strength.

180 seconds for F1B. F1A & F1C all 180 seconds except round 5 reduced to 120 seconds

Local rules or deviations from Sporting Code

Due to the changing direction of the wind , timekeepers were allowed to move from the flight line if their line of sight was obstructed by vehicles or shade structures. Flyers were allowed to time each other, rounds 1-3 on Friday were shortened by agreement of all flyers to 45 minutes, and the competition was reduced to 5 rounds due to unfavorable winds.

Observations on timekeeping

There were 2 timekeepers with tripod mounted bino's for each of the 3 F1C flyoff contestants and each of the 2 F1A flyoff contestants . *There was some difficulty experienced as the F1C models went behind a tree line, however the placings were not affected and a sporting result was achieved. The F1A flyoff was timed to the ground.

Prize-giving and issue of results - confirm organisers provide results with full names, nationalities and number of juniors

The results were on the score board in order of placings on all three days. Results were sent to the FAI and posted on SEN.
They will be published in the next issue of Free Flight Down Under and on the NSWFFS web site.
Prizes in the form of certificates, and bottles of wine were awarded at a BBQ (F1B) on Friday evening and F1A & F1C on the field on Saturday 25th April.
